Residential Electrical Installations
Installation done right!
GFCI Wall Sockets
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI) are required by code on all circuits supplying bathrooms, kitchen countertops, garages, basements and all outdoor locations. These safety devices should be tested monthly to ensure their proper operation.
Ceiling Fans circulate the air in your home, supporting your heating and cooling systems efficiency. They can also be installed with a Ceiling Fan Light Kit to provide functional light. Ceiling fans require a special Ceiling Fan Rated Box that can support the weight and constant movement of the fan. Ceiling Fan Remote Controls provide a convenient way to control fans that are on high ceilings.
Dimmer Switches can easily be added to any existing light without having to change any wiring. Dimming Switches are compatible with CFL’s, LED’s, Incandescent and Fluorescent Light Bulbs.
Panel UpgrdesMy Electrician will service all of your electrical distribution concerns, including the following: Overhead and Underground Electrical Service installation, Breaker Replacement, Meter Replacement/Repair, Fuse Box Replacement, and Surge Protection.
All electrical outlets are required by code to be of the grounding type (3-prong). This provides an equipment ground for anything that may be plugged into the outlet. It protects both the user from electrical shock and the equipment/appliance that is being used.
Automatic (and temporary) Standby Generators can be installed to back up your whole homes electrical panel. They can detect a utility power outage and automatically transfer over to generator power. When the utility power is restored, the generator will transfer back to normal power. These generators can run on either natural gas or propane.
Bathroom Exhaust FansIs your bathroom fan old and noisy? Maybe it just stopped working? We can replace it with a new, “whisper quiet” fan & integrated LED light. A properly functioning bathroom fan is important in helping to maintain mold and mildew in your bathroom. The fan removes the warm, damp air from the space and out of the house.
Electrical Outlets and Switches require maintenance just from years of normal use. Dust can collect in the box behind the outlet and wire connections can become loose causing an unsafe arcing condition. A common sign of this is a pop or fizzle sound when you operate a light switch or plug something into in outlet. A new light switch or outlet is an easy solution in most situations.
Electric Heating SystemsElectric heat can be a great supplemental heat source for any room of your home. Newer technology provides up to 70% more efficiency when compared to traditional electric baseboard heat. They can even be controlled remotely with a phone app!
Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Carbon Monoxide and smoke detector systems are mandatory in all homes and keep your family safe from fire and noxious gas. Systems can be integrated together or installed in a stand-alone fashion.
Let's work together on your next project!
